At First United Methodist Church in Crowley, we share the historic Christian faith expressed and lived out in the United Methodist tradition. We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, revealed most fully in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God’s love and grace are freely offered to all people, and through faith in Christ we are welcomed into relationship with God and invited into a life of discipleship.
We affirm the Bible as the primary authority for faith and practice, and we view God’s grace as the foundation for salvation and spiritual growth. United Methodists are shaped by a Wesleyan heritage that emphasizes not only belief, but faith lived out in love and service — putting faith into action in our families, neighborhoods, and the wider world.
We also seek to follow Jesus’ call to love boldly and serve joyfully as we make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world, trusting that the Holy Spirit continues to guide and empower the Church.
